JMC EDUTAINMENT: Entertainment that Educates
JMC EDUTAINMENT is a non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life and knowledge within our community. We achieve this by providing educational resources and information in an engaging and accessible format.
Our primary focus is to produce community events that educate the public on important topics, with a special emphasis on physical and mental health. We believe that by presenting this information through an entertaining medium, we can better reach and inform a wider audience.
In addition to our educational programs, we actively support our local community through initiatives like our food drive. This effort is dedicated to assisting those affected by rising grocery costs, ensuring that community members in need have access to essential food resources.
During the Covid-19 pandemic we created over 3,000 low cost designer masks to inspire the community to be more inclined to wear them.

Our Most Recent Project:
GEM STONE- Reimagining the Classics for a New Era
The journey behind our latest musical project began in the challenging landscape of the COVID-19 pandemic. Seeking solace and inspiration, we turned to the music that had long filled our lives with hope and comfort. This led us to embark on a mission to re-record a collection of timeless songs, infusing them with a renewed sense of purpose and resilience.
This collaborative effort was a true labor of love. We were joined by an exceptional team of vocalists, including Shirley Lites, Rhonda Lancaster, and Kaliah Higgenbothom and were an emotional and creative high point. The project is dedicated to the memory of the legendary bassist Doug Grigsby and other talented musicians who contributed their time and artistry to our non-profit projects, Music 4 Masks and Music 4 Mental Health.
Our new album is a tribute to the power of music to unite and heal. It features a diverse selection of re-recorded tracks, including:
-
"Sunrise": A soulful tribute to the original recording by Slick featuring Brandi Wells, an artist from Chester, PA.
-
"Takin' It to the Streets": Inspired by The Doobie Brothers' iconic 1976 hit, a message of hope that resonated deeply during the pandemic.
-
"Stay"
-
"Come Together"
-
"Love Ballad"
